As some may know, I've been having terrible nightmares this month involving the hospitalization, operation, massive blood-loss, and even death of some of my closest friends.

Today, I heard that my friend Adaira's husband was horribly injured. His hand was crushed so badly, it shattered the bones in his fingers. They might not be able to save his fingers. Adaira and he are both going through so much now, I can't even comprehend it. I wish I could be with them both to support them...I owe it to them.

I'm sick of having nightmares about my friends being harmed or injured. I want to have good dreams again. I want my mind to stop torturing me in my sleep. Maybe if I were narcoleptic that would be possible.

EDIT January 30th, 2007 @ 9pm: Adaira's husband had surgery today and his fingers were saved. Things are looking much better! Hopefully my dreams turn around too.
